Yankees' Gardner to replace injured all-star Gordon

New York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner, who was on the fan ballot for the AL's final roster spot for the July 14 all-star game, won't have to wait for that result. He was named to the team Thursday to replace the injured Alex Gordon.
