'It's a death sentence': Post-mortem test for carfentanil could reveal scale of opioid crisis

Medical examiners in Alberta have begun testing for the presence of carfentanil, an animal tranquilizer whose growing use as a recreational drug has resulted in 15 deaths in the province and alarmed health and law enforcement authorities across Canada.
